Soeholm is the home of Dannebrog Rederi, the parent company of Nordana
Project & Chartering, Nordana Line and Weco Shipping.
Dannebrog Rederi is a shipowning company established in 1883, built on old
shipping traditions, quality and professionalism.
Nordana Project & Chartering was established in 1998 as an
independent division within Nordana Line. The aim was to
diversify the activities of Nordana Line and support the group's
existing customers by offering a world wide tramp service.
Nordana Project & Chartering is today actively involved within the dry
cargo market. On average we employ 20 vessels, owned vessels as well as
chartered tonnage, in size ranging from 5,000 to 30,000 dwt.
Our tonnage is modern and specialized with the ability to carry almost any
type of cargo such as bulk, heavy lifts, hazardous cargo, RO/RO as well as
all kinds of breakbulk cargo.
The volume lifted in 2005 was about 1 million freight tonnes and is
expected to continue to rise in the years to come.
Nordana Project and Chartering is a recognized carrier and has concluded
single cargoes as well as Contract of Affreightments with major and well
known charterers including General Electric, Siemens, Babcock & Wilcox,
Alstom Power and ABB, just to mention a few.
Nordana Project and Chartering has grown to be an important part of the
group's activities and it is our aim to expand further. With dedicated
and motivated staff we believe we are prepared to meet the future
challenges from the shipping market,
